Congratulations to Alex Graham and Gabby Ashby,on their remarkable achievement of Cheshire County honours, both former players of Bowdon RUFC's ladies team! After a triumphant victory over Northumberland last week with a score of 7-22, where both made their Cheshire debut, they are now geared up to face Durham at Chester this Sunday, kick-off at 2pm. The ladies began their rugby pathway with Bowdon. Gabby's journey has been filled with immense perseverance, battling through horrendous injuries on her way to this personal milestone, whilst Alex [vice captain] grew up at Bowdon with her brother Tom and late father Jim who were keen enthusiast of the club. Both players have showcased their talent not only at Crewe & Nantwich but also at Sale FC, paving their way to the county team. Bowdon are proud of their acievement and we extend our heartfelt wishes for theirs, and their teamates continued success and look forward to seeeing them down at the club relaxing once the season is done. If you possibly can, we encourage everyone to take a trip out and attend the game lending your support to the ladies and Cheshire, tomorrow at Chester Rugby Club.
