WOMEN'S RUGBY

• Female participation levels are at an all-time high with 2.7 million players globally. More than a quarter of the overall playing population is now female, and there has been a 28% increase in registered players since 2017.

• Over the past five years, the number of adult women playing rugby has grown from 25,000 to 40,000 in England and the RFU has ambitious targets to grow the numbers to 100,000 by 2027.

• In comparison to Men’s Rugby, there are very few full-time professional club teams in Women’s Rugby, meaning a lot of the players will also be in the workforce as teachers, plumbers, police officers, fire fighters, and even influencers, all making a living and playing at the elite level of sport!

Support the game and your club. Watch the games and savour all the action to come amongst team mates, family, friends and neighbours in an environment where you can be sure of a great welcome, members and non members alike.

Cheer on the Red Roses.
