Sad Passing

Don Patterson 1935 - 2025 

We are sad to announce the passing of one of our long standing Vice Presidents Don Patterson. 

Don joined Bowdon in 1962 under the Captaincy of John Harrop. He played most of his rugby on the 2nd XV. On retiring from playing he was membership secretary and  ran the touchline for Bowdon for many years serving the oranges at 1/2 time and ensuring a bucket of cold water and sponge was available in case of injury.

He was on the first trips to Blanc Mesnil and the Isle on Man. 

A very loyal and loved member of Bowdon. He will be sadly missed. 

RIP Don.
