It is with a heavy heart we inform you of the passing of Billy Quarell. He had been ill for quite some time and passed peacefully in his sleep last night.
Billy was known by many at the club over the years, especially those that trained who were always informed that they were late upon arrival, whatever time that they appeared. A character with many a story to share he will be remembered fondly in a quiet moment by many.
Our thoughts are with his wife Liz and son Nicky at this difficult time.
