On Saturday our Bowdon Bears Mixed Ability team travelled down to Broadstreet Rugby Club to take part in the annual Wooden Spoon International TAG Festival. Teams from across the British Isles travelled to Coventry – with all travel and accommodation paid for by Wooden Spoon. The Bears got to play against teams from Essex, Ireland and Scotland and also see some old friends from Stockport RC and Old Leamingtonians. They had a wonderful day, played some great rugby and travelled back tired but happy with their medals and t-shirts.
